About Academie de la Capitale
Established in 1998, Academie de la Capitale is an independent, bilingual, International Baccalaureate (IB) World School authorized for the Primary Years Programme (PYP) for students aged 3- to grade 6. Academie de la Capitale (also referred to as Acadecap) was the first authorized IB PYP school in the Ottawa/Outaouais region, and is now the only school offering the PYP in a French/bilingual coeducational setting. Our approach to learning transcend the boundaries generally imposed by grade, ability, subject and even space. Our open layout and low student/teacher ratio are designed to promote constructive interaction and respectful collaboration of students and teacher.
