About Rockway Mennonite Collegiate
Rockway Mennonite Collegiate is located in Kitchener, Ontario in Waterloo Region, just one hour west of Toronto. Founded in 1945, our school currently serves a diverse population of 350 students in grades 6-12. Rockway maintains a strong and supportive relationship with congregations in Mennonite Church Eastern Canada, a conference of 90 Mennonite congregations. About half of our students come from Mennonite congregations, while the balance represents a wide diversity of Christian denominations and other faiths. Our student body includes more than 50 international students from eight different countries. As an inspected and accredited private school, Rockway's teachers are certified by the Ontario College of Teachers and use the Ontario Ministry of Education Curriculum to offer a challenging and supportive environment for learning. Over 90% of Rockway's graduates are accepted into post-secondary programs of choice in university and college. Forming faith and building character; enriching student learning with excellent academics; teaching students to thoughtfully engage their world; integrating service and cross-cultural learning; creating a safe and stimulating learning community; providing enriched extra-curricular opportunities; nurturing positive relationships ... all help us to "to shape great lives through learning, opportunity, caring and faith!"
