Teachers and staff are dedicated to knowing and working with every student, to help them find their gifts. The HDCH community has a very high retention rate. About Hamilton District Christian High

HDCH, founded in 1956, offers a comprehensive curriculum with a distinct difference. As a community of Christian learners, we are seeking to discover all of God's created truths and beauty while working together. Students gain important collaboration skills through a Project Based Learning approach, and are empowered to experience all the school has to offer--from access to technology through to guiding their own learning. We have a maximum of 500 students on our 20 acres campus, located in a beautiful rural corner of Hamilton. Our programs seek to challenge both the gifted learner and the student with learning challenges. Our relatively large enrollment allows us to offer a range of courses from World Religions and Entrepreneurship to Home Renovations and Music, taught by qualified professionals who are passionate about their craft. The curriculum meets and exceeds Ministry of Education requirements. Students find their niche in a wide variety of clubs and teams. Parents participate in significant school decision-making, and are encouraged to serve on the Board and various committees. Students at HDCH receive a well-rounded education that equips them with skills to attain their goals, and prepares them for a life of service for Jesus Christ.
