In 1988, we began our infant, toddler, and pre-school programs under the banner of Some Place Special Christian Day Care in Scarborough, Ontario. However, it soon became apparent that there was a need for an exemplary academic program within the context of the Christian principles for these growing students. In 1992, our first elementary class began with six pupils in grades one to three. The school was then renamed to Wesley Christian Academy to reflect the expansion into an elementary school and to embrace the life and teachings of John Wesley, an inspiration to the founders.
